​MADCAP PRODUCTIONS

Illuminate was organized shortly after the founding of Muncie's Electronic Dance Music Collective - the organization brought together a sleuth of talented, local producers who's music had not yet been performed live. This created a great opportunity to cultivate a dance music scene in the area and begin developing followings for each of the performers.

 

With the dual interests of bringing powerful local art to the public's eye and creating seemingly magical moments for the audience, the festival drew unexpected, though pleasant, attention from both Ball State University, as well as local press. The event served as a fantastic stepping stone towards cultivating local interest in art and music and brought together a fantastic ensemble of talented individuals, including LED spinners, producers, firebreathers, and painters.
